Lauren Gepford Coaching & Consulting Practice
I help people and orgs build things that last, and lead in the way that feels like them.
Whether you're managing a mission, a team, or a growing vision, I can help you build capacity, navigate complexity, and bring more intention and ease to how the work gets done.
I work with the people behind the progress — those managing people, programs, budgets, and burnout. If you're making high-stakes decisions in fast-moving environments, trying to hold multiple pieces together while building something that matters, you're not alone.
Through coaching, facilitation, consulting, and creative tools, I help leaders sharpen their decision-making, develop their teams, and strengthen the systems behind their success.
Coaching:
Build your power, mission, clarity, & capacity
Who’s Coaching For?
Growth and professional development aren’t just for startups and Fortune 500s! Coaching unlocks clarity, solutions, and intentional and consistent action.
I most often partner with nonprofit execs, tech leads, department directors, mission-driven business owners, and those in transition.
What Can Coaching Focus On?
Navigating big decisions, transitions, and hard conversations
Creating a vision that supports taking the steps needed to achieve dreams
Finding ease and clarity in work amidst burnout, overwhelm, being “stuck,” or decision fatigue
Delegation, team development, and role clarity
Integrating your values and vision into leadership
Confidence, expressing yourself, and communication
One-on-one Coaching
One-on-one coaching is NOT therapy, consulting, nor advice.
Coaching is structured thinking time—so you can get out of the noise and into clarity. It’s a process for making decisions, designing systems, and stepping into leadership with intention.
In sessions we use a variety of brain-training tools and being together to support you to find clarity and set your next steps.
I’ll bring in my experience and tools from saving, starting and/or running organizations from soup to nuts and identifying, hiring, and developing 300+ staffers.
One-on-one coaching is a confidential relationship and space. Working with and being friends with elected officials and principals for nearly 20 years, and being in top leadership positions myself, has ingrained in me the utmost importance of maintainining confidence and integrity with my professional relationships; plus, running an organization, department, or starting your new venture can be lonely.
What To Expect in One-on-One Coaching
One-on-one coaching are typically 55 minute sessions twice per month with unlimited text and email coaching in-between live sessions, starting with a 6 month contract.
Sessions are structured—especially the first 2-3 sessions to get grounded—but also spacious. You'll leave each session with clearer thinking, tangible next steps, and more alignment between who you are and how you lead.
One-on-One Coaching Package

Hi, welcome, I’m Lauren.
For nearly two decades, I led large-scale organizations in the fast-paced, high-stakes environments of politics, non-profits, and public impact work—from managing multimillion-dollar programs to building teams of over 300 people and launching initiatives in 40+ states.
My life started to shift after a transformative 2021–2022. While juggling my dad’s cancer care during COVID and scaling a national program from 4 to 40+ states, I was also being taken on an unexpected journey—one of reckoning and awakening. After my dad passed, I knew I had to change my core identity: workaholic. I cut back from 80-hour weeks, started exercising again, and tried to reclaim parts of myself I had neglected. Then over the course of six months, I suddenly lost two staff members under 50—both known for their relentless dedication to work. That sealed it.
Over time, I realized that even the most mission-driven or well-capitalized organizations often struggle internally. They are frequently hindered by unclear processes, reactive leadership, or overextended teams. I became focused on helping individuals and institutions solve these systemic challenges—not just to work more efficiently, but to lead with more clarity and durability.
Today, I work with leaders, boards, and teams who want to build strong internal foundations that support meaningful, long-term success. These are people who care deeply about their work and want to operate at a higher level—without sacrificing clarity, morale, or momentum.
Through coaching and consulting, I help clients:
Build scalable structures and operational systems
Lead through complex transitions and growth phases
Improve project management and internal workflows
Strengthen leadership clarity and communication
Align their mission with day-to-day execution
My role is to be a strategic partner—to help clients steady their infrastructure, refine how they lead, and sustain what they’re building.
